Dubai prides itself as a destination for luxury, and even the emergency services have developed expensive tastes.
First responders in the "City of Gold" have built up elite fleets featuring some of the world's most glamorous cars, partly driven by the government's desire to project an image of high class.
The latest additions include three sparkling new high-speed ambulances in the shape of a Nissan GT-R, Range Rover, and Chevrolet Corvette, which are expected to improve the service and reduce emergency response times. The Nissan and Corvette both have top speeds of around 195 mph.
