Maguire was paired with England's Mel Reid for her opening foursomes match. Reid has played in three previous Solheim Cups, something Maguire says she tapped into.

A formidable foe —
In her opening match at the Solheim Cup on Saturday, Maguire and Reid faced a daunting task, coming up against world No. 1 Nelly Korda and her sister, Jessica. The European pair eventually came up victorious though.

Rolling on —
After a perfect debut on the Saturday, Maguire was again trusted to feature in the foursomes on Sunday. Paired yet again with Reid, they dominated Nelly Korda and Ally Ewing 5&4.

Going solo —
In Monday's singles matches, Maguire faced world No. 30 Jennifer Kupcho.

Playing steady —
However, despite all the pressure of being a so-far unbeaten rookie at the Solheim Cup on her shoulders, Maguire played steady confident golf, never looking unnerved against Kupcho.

History —
The Irishwoman eventually triumphed against Kupcho, recording a convincing 5&4 victory to steer Europe closer to a memorable victory. She celebrated with her sister Lisa on the 15th hole afterwards.

Heroics —
Maguire finished her debut Solheim Cup -- becoming the first Irishwoman ever to play in the event -- both undefeated and also Europe's top scorer with four-and-a-half points.
